Saturday March 3 2018
2-Day Workshop : Saturday March 3 & March 10
Using a simple Rigid Heddle loom the participant will learn how to select the right yarns/threads for a project, calculate the length, make the warp and dress the loom.
There will be some homework to finish the weaving so that on the 2nd session a 2nd project may be started. With the completion of the scarf project we will cover knotting and wet finishing the project.
Participants can expect to complete at least 1 cozy woolly scarf. Time permitting a second project could be completed. No Experience needed. Equipment will be available for use during this course and materials will be provided for the 1st scarf project.
